Manchester United want to sign Kylian Mbappe in 2024

If Kylian Mbappé decides to leave PSG in summer 2024, the Premier League will be ‘waiting’ for him. Manchester United are among the ‘suitors’ from England. The player has the option of leaving one year earlier. He signed a three year contract till 2025.

Kylian Mbappe signed a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain during the summer window, but it is now claimed he will be able to decide whether he extends his contract beyond 2024.

During the summer transfer window, it was claimed that the French international had agreed a deal with Real Madrid, only to perform a U-turn at the 11th hour to remain with PSG.

Although Mbappe has signed till 2025, the final 12 months will be at the discretion of Mbappe himself, with a guarantee only lasting until 2024.

Speculation has already started that he will be able to walk away for free in 2024.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said recently, 'I've never said it's over between Mbappe and Real Madrid forever. I never said that. In three years, many things can change. But I don't want this Mbappe.'

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has lifted some of the fog on the speculation surrounding Mbappe.

“Honestly, at the moment, there is nothing between Manchester United and Kylian Mbappe."

“Mbappe has only recently extended his contract with PSG, so I think it makes little sense to discuss any club at the moment, including Manchester United.”

Mbappe has repeatedly refused to squash speculation linking him with a move to the Bernabeu even after signing his PSG extension.

What’s more, Sky Germany’s Jan-Aage Fjortoft is of the belief Mbappe could be in Madrid as early as 2023.

Fjortoft said: “I said it when he signed: he has agreed with Qatar to stay in Paris for one season due to the World Cup. Then Real Madrid next summer.”

Mbappe's renewal with PSG reportedly made him the highest paid footballer in the world, netting him north of £900,000-a-week. Even if Mbappe were to move on as a free agent, the salary demands involved would ensure a colossal financial commitment is required.

Real Madrid have shown over 400 million euros cash in their latest financial announcement.

Where it went wrong for Three Lions against France in the World Cup and is manager Southgate the right man to lead England to the Euros 2024

England manager Gareth Southgate against France in the World Cup 2022 quarter-final Southgate has allowed a new generation of England fans to dream. His accomplishments should not be downplayed or ignored. But England can't quite get over the hill when it counts. As was evident last night, and Italy in the final of the Euros, England struggle to turn that firm grip on the game into chances and goals. Deschamps's men were not better than England's. They just had that vital 1 per cent that carried them through. Winners win football matches. England had a better xG. England (2.59) 1-2 (1.32) France. Sure 2 of the chance were penalties which boosted the xG for England, but then its the tiny margins that can decide a World Cup knockout game. Both sides were taking out their opponents strengths, but then their own strength was not coming into play. England were creating chances, but never ones you thought had to be goals. Kyle Walker was stuck blunting Mbappe, and the same was ...
