Renato Sanches is on the right track, the player is in Paris according to information advanced by Santi Aouna. He had left Lille yesterday and is now waiting at the hotel.
He should go for medical tests this afternoon, a mandatory preamble to signing his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. As relayed this morning, PSG and LOSC have agreed on a transfer fee of €15 million.
Paris Saint-Germain and LOSC Lille reached an agreement worth around €15 million for the Portugal international. The 24-year-old enjoyed a fruitful spell ever since he signed for Lille in the summer of 2019 even winning the Ligue 1 title. Injuries and other issues saw Sanches struggle for form last term but he still finished the season with seven goals.
Sanches is a replacement of Gini Wijnaldum, who is set to move to Jose Mourinho's Roma. Lille believe that they have gotten a good fee for a player that was in the final year of his contract although there was interest from clubs outside France, as AC Milan, Arsenal, and Manchester United were also following the player.
Lille and PSG reached an agreement shortly after 22:30 last night for the transfer of the midfielder.
